My Students

My student are a fabulous group of 3-5 year old students. They are learning their letters, numbers, beginning to read and so many more things. Many of our students come from poverty and current budget cuts affect the supplies needed.

My students are our future.

They love to learn. They are proud of their accomplishments. I just want to give them every opportunity to have a great start in their academic careers. They can be anything they want with the proper education, instruction, and tools.

My Project

My students love art and integrating it into my day in my special needs preschool class is very important. The items in this project will allow my children to explore art through a variety of items. I am asking arts and crafts supplies including feathers, clay, gemstones, buttons and confetti glue. Some of the requested items will also be used to enhance SEL concepts, classroom learning and hand-eye coordination. For example, the requested Moody Monsters will be used to create and explore monsters with different emotions. The air dry clay will allow my children to roll and mold clay. The triangular crayons will help with teach children the proper three finger grasp. There are so many lessons utilizing these materials that I look forward to incorporating into our classroom.

Hands on learning with colorful, textured material is essential for children.

Early childhood education gives our youth an early start to being successful in life.
