So, your pool just opened this past weekend and when you went into your bathing suit drawer you realized that all of your old bathing suits don’t fit and they definitely aren’t “mommy approved.”  They don’t cover all the goods and they don’t allow you to be comfortable as you carry your squirming child AND all the pool toys AND towels AND the huge float AND the pool bag AND snacks!  Seriously, why did no-one tell me that adding one baby to the mix meant having to bring a million more things to the pool.  It is no longer just a towel, your phone and a book!  When I first took Blake to the pool on my own I totally thought I could carry it all in and that there was no need for a stroller.  When I finally put everything down on my pool chair and looked down at my suit, it was all over the place!  The little tiny bikini top was not made for moms carrying in all that stuff!  Then I took him in the water and he hung all over me and I looked down again, there ya go, my chest was all out!  OH MY GOSH! so embarrassing!  Plus, my stretch marks were already all out for the world to see and my tummy flab!  I have one pieces and tankinis, but they just weren’t as cute as my bikinis!  THEN I found The Candy Strand bathing suits and they are perfect!!!  They hide my tummy fat, they are SO easy to nurse in, they cover all my goods, they are modest and comfortable and they are SUPER cute- I mean just look at their website, it’s all young girls looking super hot in the suits!  (Aka they don’t look like your typical “mom suits”). The best part, they are 100% REVERSIBLE!!!!  I mean, no seams show on one side and looks like you’re wearing your suit inside out reversible.  They are amazing!!  The trestle top that I am wearing can be worn in a million different ways.  You can roll down the top or the bottom half to reveal the color on the other side and create a bandeau type top.  I love the versatility in the suit!!  You literally get like a million suits for one price!  Not only do I love my suit together, but the bottoms can be worn with a million other tops already in your bathing suit drawer!   I also love that the bottom that I am wearing comes up enough to cover my c-section scar and hide my tummy pooch but still has the cute little cinch in the booty that makes everyones booty look SO perky and good!

  

The only down side of the bikini tops being reversible is that there is no distinct area to hold up your boobs.  Luckily, the suit is tight enough to give enough support and they are thick enough that you won’t see if you get …  cold (hahaha)!  If you are still worried about it, The Candy Strand also sells uppers and lowers to help!  The uppers are good for if you want to make your chest more full, and the lowers, well I honestly am not sure what they are really for, but I place them right over my nipples to just make me feel more comfortable for if I do get “cold” or if Blake decides to pull my suit all the way down, which actually happened while I was taking the pictures for this post!  I think that is what they are for?  But if not- they are PERFECT for that use!

I really do love my Candy Strand suit!  They have so many different options to choose from that I will definitely be shopping this site every time I need a new suit!  It is just too much bang for my buck to turn down!  ALSO- they have the cutest reversible high waisted bathing suit bottoms!  They are definitely on my wish list to buy this summer!
