A DISCOUNT superstore which will create scores of jobs is set to open this month - nearly a year after it intended.
Home Bargains has been putting the finishing touches to its store next to the Harwich Gateway Retail Park in Freshfields Road, Dovercourt.
Once open it is expected to create 45 jobs.
The new store has been built on undeveloped land adjacent to the current retail park.
TJ Morris was given permission to build the store in January 2013 and had hoped to open last Christmas.
But the plans were then pushed back.
Now a sign has been put up outside the store announcing it will be opening soon and Home Bargins has listed the store as opening in November 2014 on its website.
A spokesman for the store would only say: “It will be opening later this year.”
