HCA: Cougars offer scholarship to younger brother of Tyler Hilinski

Hilinski could be a name Cougar fans hear for a little longer than expected

NCAA Football: Boise State at Washington State James Snook-USA TODAY Sports

The last name Hilinski could be a name that Washington State fans hear for a little longer than expected, and for good reasons. Ryan Hilinski, the younger brother of current Cougar backup quarterback Tyler, received an offer from the Cougs on Monday. Ryan is set to be in the class of 2019.

The 6-foot-4, 218-pound quarterback is not afraid to put air under the ball as he has already surpassed 1,600 passing yards in just three weeks as a junior for Orange Lutheran High School according to this article by Theo Lawson. Last week against Norco High School Hilinski completed 30 of 37 passes for 429 yards and 3 touchdowns in the win according to his twitter.

Rated 3-stars by 247 Sports, Hilinski has received offers from Boston College, Fresno State, Northwestern, South Carolina and a few others.
