Our story
Established in 2015, The Inspiring Workplaces Group’s (IWG) purpose is to transform the world by inspiring and supporting organisations that put their people first.
To date, IWG has primarily done that through The Inspiring Workplaces Awards – now the World’s #1 non-survey-based awards, Recognizing PeopleFirst Organizations. In the last decade we have recognized thousands of organisations and positively impacted millions of employees.
To encourage organizations all around the world to adopt a PeopleFirst approach, IWG is home to a free community of tens of thousands of professionals who believe what we believe. To help achieve our purpose, we work with our community of inspirers to create and share educational articles, videos, podcasts, online events and much more.
IWG’s latest addition is IW Consulting (IWC), which was launched to help leaders prioritize their people related actions. IWC uses its unique methodology – COMPASS – to guide leaders on where to focus their efforts to be certain of reaping the rewards that come from creating a PeopleFirst organization.
