Hello. It’s Dujun!

It’s a really fluttering moment as it’s the first time I’m releasing an album that’s filled with solely my voice.

Kim Wonseop CEO-nim, Around Us staff and also managers who worked really hard until the release of album, for always treasuring and treating me preciously, thank you with all my heart.

BXN hyung-nim and Vincenzo hyung-nim who wrote great music, Moon-nim who featured your amazing singing, engineer Eungyung nuna and Jihyun nuna, you’ve all worked really hard. I’ll treasure this preciously for a really long time!

Mijangwon by Taehyun’s staffs Taehyun director, Sujin, Miae and other staffs, Nine Visual’s Donghyun-ie hyung and Youngran nuna, thank you for dressing the normal me cooly. Please stay healthy for a long long time!

Hong Seungsung chairman and Cube Entertainment staff who were by our side till 3 years back, I wonder if you’re doing well. I’ll live without forgetting the hard work of everyone. Hwaiting always!!

Although I couldn’t thank everyone one by one on this space, but the drama and variety producer and staffs who helped me through my tough times..you’ve done such a huge favour to me. I’ll always be the Yoon Dujun and Highlight who works hard.

Until a while back, troop 12 whose existence was like home to me, previous and current group leader in the army (sorry for leaving out the names due to safety reasons. Group leader! Loyalty!), our troop mates and teammates, really thank you and thank you. I’ll always wish for your health.

Our family.. it seems like I’ve aged. Although I’m still really young.. I feel really emotional when I think of my family. I pray for nothing else but your health. Our grandma who’s in heaven now, your grandson released his album! I’ll find you one day to deliver my music!! Please watch over our family and I hope to reunite with you happily in the far future! Mum, and dad, please stay healthy!! Exercise a lot too!!! Nuna, brother-in-law and Joonie, please always stay as the harmonious family you’re now and make lots of beautiful memories.. Our dog Tiber, thank you so much. Take care of mum and dad as reliable as you’re now, for a long long time! I love you so so much my family!

My friends who are always supporting me from the same spot, thank you and I love you. Let’s make lots of enjoyable memories healthily. Please be healthy!! You guys are good!!!!

Our members who I’ve missed so much.. as I was preparing for the album, I felt so strongly the emptiness from your absence once again. More than releasing 100 solo albums, I prefer producing just 1 album with you all. This is something we talk about so often, to hurry reunite and hold concerts, perform in foreign countries, enjoying drinking a can of beer together in the night while chatting. I’m counting down while waiting for the day to arrive faster. Therefore, I hope that you’d complete well healthily and by doing your utmost best!! I love you.

Have you waited a long time for this album?! Although it might cause disappointment..as I’m still imperfect!! Even so, for everyone who has waited eagerly for this album, I sang the songs sincerely for everyone. Despite the fact that it may not be suited for a warm summer, to relay my heart, I’ve decided to sing these songs. Please focus on the lyrics and listen to melody! I hope the songs will bring comfort to everyone even if it’s just by a little, I hope it becomes everyone’s source of energy and I hope it will be deeply relatable. Thank you so much for waiting for such a long period of time!!! As we’ve spent such a long time together, let’s spend even more time together!!! I love you. Our lights.

Lastly,

Last year about this period of time, after my dad has injured himself seriously (he has fully recovered now!!!), it felt like whatever I’ve did so far were in vain. That’s why the more I’ve placed focus on health and happiness.. although I’ve been mentioning about health and happiness like a parrot, and it may come off as a formality to some, it’s really what I feel. Thus, for every seconds I’m alive, I’m thankful. I’m really thankful for just being healthy. But as for happiness, it doesn’t seem to always be by our side. I can’t forcefully create it. Despite hoping that in whatever we do, we can find happiness, it seems really tough. It’s because happiness happens in that very moment.

Therefore, I hope the songs can bring happiness to everyone in that moment.. Even if I’m a singer who couldn’t sing and dance well, I think that itself is my goal and destination for picking up this path.

Thank you for listening to it, thank you for enjoying it. Although we can’t be happy in every moment, I sincerely pray that you’ll be happy in every moment you’re listening to the songs in this album.
