The #Chargers top choice all along, Brandon Staley put his resume on the field all season. Now Staley stays in LA… and may not even have to move. https://t.co/ZT4IQDZsFk

As the Eagles coaching search continues, another name has been removed from the board after the Los Angeles Chargers hired Rams defensive coordinator Brandon Staley, to be their head coach.
Staley was scheduled to interview with the Eagles on Monday afternoon, but the lure of not having to leave Los Angeles kept the young defensive wizard in the city and in a new conference.
Staley’s Rams defense was the NFL’s No. 1 ranked unit and Los Angeles finished 2020 ranked first in points and yards allowed, giving up more than 28 points in a game only once.
