Set out on a morning adventure at 9 am, where you’ll be treated to the awe-inspiring sight of whales in their natural habitat.
Our friendly guides will share interesting anecdotes, ensuring a memorable and uncomplicated experience.
To ensure a smooth departure and maximize your time enjoying the awe-inspiring sight of whales in their natural habitat, please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to departure at 08:30 am.

WHALE WATCHING COMBO TOURS
Whale Watching departure times
09:00 / 13:00 / 17:00
The Whale Watching tour takes approx. 3-3.5 hours.
A 3-3.5 hour adventure departing from Old harbour. We sail into Faxaflói bay in search of Minke and Humpback whales, Dolphins and Harbour porpoises.
10:00 / 14:00
The Express Whale Watching tour takes approx. 2-2.5 hours.
Provided with the faster boat so the time on the spotting area is the same, just sailing to that point and back to harbour is shorter.
Stunning Whale watching
Slightly unusual tour, as it started with a 30 min coach ride to another harbour, but once there and on board the boat, it was fantastic, there were two humpbacks in the harbour itself, spent half hour following them round in circles. Then out to the harbour mouth to see the pinnacle of the trip a full breach no more than 30 metres in front of the boat.
